Sean Woods, the head basketball coach at Morehead State was recently suspended for one game after he pushed and berated one of his players following a time out in a game vs Kentucky. I watched the video and immediately knew that this was going to get ugly quick.. The coach was obviously upset at his player for a mistake or missed assignment on the court but in my opinion he clearly crossed the line when he began to put his hands on the player then continued to berate him on the bench. Coach Woods was suspended for one game and was required to release a public apology to his team and to the Morehead State community but I am wondering if this was enough? Should he be fired for his actions or was this just a case of a coach letting his passion for the game get the best of him. Interested to hear your opinion.
