Antonio Escalante beats Edel Ruiz at the Don

Just saw the news on Boxing Scene website that El Pasoan Antonio Escalante stopped Edel Ruiz in the third round at the Don Haskins center Friday night. With the win Escalante improves to 24-2 with 15 ko's. According to the website, Escalante could face the winner of the Miguel Roman and Daniel Ponce De Leon fight next month.
